The SHAPE 2012 Symposium was held at Crown Plaza, Coogee Beach NSW on 19 and 20 July 2012. More than 30 health management academics and researchers, doctoral students, health managers and health professionals with a passion for health management and an interest in research attended the event. The Symposium focused on the following two themes which reflected the contemporary issues and the feedback from the members about what they would like discussed at the symposium.

  • Theme One: Are you serious or surreal about redisorganisation theory?
  • Theme Two: How do we ensure that our research, teaching and learning keeps up with all of this complexity?

Our congratulations go to Ms. Margaret Yen who was the proud recipient of the Dr. Mary Harris Bursary Award this year.
