OBJECTIVES

• To stimulate an exchange of ideas between educators about student needs, course design, educational methodologies, course content and course evaluation.
• To promote dialogue between industry leaders and academics about the educational implications of developments in health service management.
• To liaise with similar international educational associations including the Association of University Programs in Health Administration, European Health Management Association and the Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health.
• To facilitate communication between educators with similar research interests and expertise.
• To engage in collaborative research, publications and educational activities with SHAPE member programs, the Australian College of Health Service Executives and other relevant industry partners.
